Admissions Process
(All Programs)
For Prospective Students

The instructions below will guide you through the admissions process for students in programs for grades K-8. Please visit our High School Admissions Page for High School Admissions.
Step One: Inquiry and Request Information
Our Admissions Office is here to assist you year-round. Please submit an inquiry, and someone from our team will be in touch. We look forward to connecting with you! Explore our website to learn more about our philosophy, curriculum, and dedicated faculty.

Step Two: Attend a Tour or Open House
The best way to know if Spring River is a good fit for your family is to attend our annual Open House in January or schedule a morning tour with a member of our staff.
Our admissions process begins by allowing parents to learn about our Waldorf-inspired/outdoor education and to experience it firsthand by exploring our program and watching the students engage their heads, hands, and hearts as they learn. A tour will help you to determine if Spring River’s unique approach to education is compatible with your child’s learning style. We require a tour so all families are well-informed about their choice.

Step Three: Submit an Online Application
After your tour, the next step is to complete and submit an application form, along with the $45 non-refundable application fee per student through your FACTS Family Portal.

We have rolling admissions which means that if we have an opening and your student is accepted, you may enroll your student.

Step Four: Trial Day(s)
Once your application is received and reviewed, prospective students will be invited to spend time in the classroom for the program they are applying to, if there is an opening. If a class is full, students will be placed on the waitpool. When a spot becomes available, the student will be invited to continue with a trial period.

During a class visit, your student will fully participate in all activities, providing a complete immersion into our curriculum. Parents do not attend the visit, allowing the student to experience the program as they would as a Spring River student.

Step Five: Acceptance Process and Enrollment
If your student is accepted, an enrollment notification with a link will be sent out by email for full registration with a $160 non-refundable registration fee.
