A Waldorf-Inspired, Community Supported Home Education Program
Spring River High School offers a unique program with a multitude of options for the homeschooling high school student.
Classes meet LIVE indoors with a rich outdoor ecological and land steward component in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Curate your own high school experience with full and part-time offerings by following our morning Academic Track or choosing from a variety of afternoon electives that will fit perfectly with other homeschooling options such as FLVS (Florida Virtual), the Jamie York Academy, Seasons of Seven, and other online options.

We are a direct provider of STEP UP FOR STUDENTS scholarships for homeschoolers.

Our classes run for 33 weeks, starting right after Labor Day. This pioneering offering is more than just an educational model-it's a community-supported initiative. We believe in working together in partnership with families to re-imagine high school home education and foster a sense of belonging and shared purpose.

Culinary Arts/Farm to Table is a popular afternoon elecrtive meeting twice a week and offering Community Supper Club monthly to the community at Atlantic Theaters.

Science is an important part of the High School Curriculum including class work, field work, and labs.
Students enjoy participating in various community and all-school events such as the annual Winter Market and Martinmas camping weekend.
Teachers, parents, and administrators enjoy collaborating and working together to support our students.
Students are able to work in Fine & Visual Arts in the afternoons including Photography, Print Making, Drawing and Mosaics.
